The Southampton Soccer Association was established in 1981 and endeavors to provide youth soccer players (ages 4-18) with a positive, enjoyable and safe experience in playing and learning about the game of soccer. By teaching our soccer players in the skills and fundamentals of the game, SSA hopes to enhance the level of talent in each and every player, and more importantly we strive to instill in all of our kids a sense of good sportsmanship, fellowship and commitment to the enjoyment of the game itself. >>>more

Southampton Scorpions U16M come up short in quest for State Cup title

After winning on PKs in their Semi Final, the cardiac kids surrendered a last minute goal to North Union and came up on the wrong end of a 4-3 score this past Saturday, May 4 at Lehigh County Fields for the EPYSA Presidents Cup title. Tying the game at 3 with 6 minutes to go, it looked as if this game too was headed to OT until North Union scored in the 2nd minute of extra time.

Members of the team include: Lenny Ackerman, Connor Beebie, Nick Clark, Kyle Delavan, JT Kling, Jason Knox, Sean Krugar, Kyle Lewicki, James McCabe, Matt McWilliams, Kyle Nemeth, Andrew Pohl, Tommy Rosenbaum, Kevin Simonson, Kevin Woodring, and Ben Zeitz. The Scorpions are coached by Ken Woodring, Andy Beebie, and Rick Pohl.
